We returned home today from our first trip. We traveled for over 24 hours but all of our flights were on time and were relatively smooth. By the time we flew into New York, I had an email from our coordinator that our court date has been set for July 31! It is actually a week later than she was trying to get but it's GREAT. It actually works out better for us because we are supposed to be at Maranatha Bible and Missionary Conference Center in Muskegon, MI the week of July 14-21. Though Gregg will not be able to go this year, I am planning on taking the kids and going anyway. They look forward to it each year so I hate for them to miss it. So we will go to MI that week and then Gregg and I will leave the next week for Russia! Crazy life!
Our coordinator did say that she would be letting me know what documents I need so it sounds like I will be back to Springfield to apostille again soon. YAY! lol
Looking back on the trip...everything has moved so quickly. We received the referral quickly, traveled quickly and now we are returning for court quickly. We can only trust God to lead us through this maze and teach us His ways as a result. I really can't imagine going through this without my faith. Praising God for His faithfulness tonight! (and now I hope my body will realize it's nighttime) :)
