We're here!!!!

We arrived at 6:30 am this morning in Krasnoyarsk, Russia on a journey to meet our son. It was a long trip but will be worth it in the end. God has been with us every step of the way. He has called us to this and will not forsake us. The lady sitting next to me on the last flight actually told me that. She was from Kras originally but is a physician in Israel currently. Was neat visiting with her. We got to the airport and saw friendly faces right off. Standing there were Elena and Lidia and they greeted us with hugs and smiles. Was so much easier this time because things are familiar. That will only get better with each trip. They brought us to the Hotel Krasnoyarsk where we have never actually stayed before which is unusual for adoptive couples. But we stayed in an apartment last time around. The way this is working out we will not be in any one place very long so this is best. At 4 pm today we go to the Ministry of Education to receive more information about our book and to get the Invitation to Visit the child. We will leave tomorrow at9 to drive to Minusinsk which we have been told is a six hour drive. Yeah...you can pry for us. :) But tomorrow we will meet him. Lidia says he looks like Gregg and has the same type of quiet personality as Benjamin. When she met him she thought of us. :) I can't wait to see for myself. She also says he has a sweet voice. Cute! Well I ended up taking a short nap this morning and Gregg is asleep now. So that should help us get over not sleeping for several days really at all. Maybe...lol Thanks for being a part of our journey! Keep praying!

  1. What is the book you referred to in your blog? How nice of the ladies to meet your plane...........that was sweet of them. Glad you got a bit of sleep and will pray you can actually sleep a bit on the drive down to see him. Let's see, if you leave at 9 a.m., that is 8 p.m here I believe, tonight. So hope you get some good sleep today........that ought to do it. Am making lists of things to do when we come "kid sit" for third trip. Love you............praying......God is so good
