Last visit, first trip

We saw our boy for the last time this trip this morning. He was a little tired, I think. He was a little more clingy and a little quieter. I can't wait to get him home and take him to the doctor about his congestion. I am absolutely positive he has asthma. Will you pray for him?

Yesterday when we left him he cried, ran away and did not want to return to his group. :( It was so hard to watch. They had said that after we visited in the morning and was told we would be back, he separated himself from the group and just sat by the door waiting, even during lunch! He must totally understand that he has been "chosen." I feel so sorry for the other children who were not "chosen." God is doing a work in Timmy's life, for sure. He is learning about unconditional love in a really hard way. I only hope he is not disappointed when nothing changes for a while. But God does not promise us no problems in life. And we only wait until the day when we can bring joy by bringing him home to four sisters and a brother. What a blessing!

We go sign the papers for the notary tomorrow officially accepting the referral. Our translator has been working hard translating our court documents. Our coordinator told us she is submitting the documents Wednesday and then she will know the court date. :)

Well, my eyes are drifting shut. I better sign off so I can sleep! Love to you all!

  1. We surely are praying for Timmy's health and for peace of mind for both of you. And, for your emotions as you fly home to the rest of your family. What joy, knowing you will see him again in a month or so..........and then to bring him HOME the next time! Hurray! Lots of things to pray for, and Timmy and his health is tops among them............I can't wait till you get him home to your dr. also! Love you......
