Well today was a whirlwind kind of day. We got the official call this morning and were busy, busy getting tickets ordered, applying for visas, getting visa pictures taken, sending off passports. Gregg had to finish up getting some paperwork done at work for the court documents. We're very close to having them complete to take with us! That SHOULD mean a quicker court date. Anyway, tomorrow I have to drive to Springfield (state capital) to apply for Benjamin's birth certificate. Yes, Krasnoyarsk wants his birth certificate...as if they don't know all of that information?? Anyway, because we re-adopted we need his IL birth certificate. What was the benefit of getting that again??? And IL, being such a wonderful state, has a process where you have to walk into the office to apply in person, wait 3 days and come back for it. WHAT?? Yeah, that's what I was thinking! Anyway, I plan on applying tomorrow and my wonderful friend and neighbor is riding down with me so we'll have lunch while we're at it! Then on Friday I will go back for the birth certificate and get all of our court documents apostilled. Should be an eventful week with two trips to Springfield!
In the meantime, we're pretty quiet around the house. We have FOUR girls at camp this week! So it's just Benjamin, Gregg and I around here! We went to see Lindsay at camp for dinner. All he could say afterwards was, "I miss Lindsay." Then, "I miss Jaime and Tara." He misses his sisters.
Oh yeah...many have asked for more info. Our boy will be 3 soon and is six hours by car to the south of Krasnoyarsk! He is ten months younger than Benjamin so he'll be the baby of the family! :)
Keep praying for us. Lots of details to wrap up in little time. But God knew that. :)

Congratulations!! Can't wait for you to travel!! Oh wow! South of Kras?? You must be getting near the border??
