We leave tomorrow to meet our son for the first time!

God has so richly blessed us these past few weeks. We are amazed at how he pulls together the details. Everything so far this time around has pretty much gone smoothly. We leave tomorrow afternoon for Krasnoyarsk. We will arrive Friday morning at 6 am, Krasnoyarsk time. They are 13 hours ahead of IL (Central) time. The plan is that we will visit the Ministry of Education on Friday morning when we get there. Then Saturday we will travel to Minusinsk to meet our boy. Please be praying for us as we travel as it is a longggg drive there. And after having traveled 25 hours the day before, it should be interesting! I'm not at all worried about it. We can do it. It will be fine. :)

Had a wonderful evening last night hanging out with other adoptive moms. It was fun to be together so close to when we are about to add another child to our family. It was nice to recenter and to focus on what God has called us to do and the fact that it's not always easy but He will equip us to deal with whatever comes to pass. I am so blessed to have this group of women to provide support throughout the process. I know that many women do not have this luxury but I pray that all would be blessed through relationships such as this.

I'm really excited that we get to hang out with another adoptive couple while we are in Krasnoyarsk. They are traveling on their third trip so they are there to pick up their daughter. So excited for them and happy we can be there to experience their joy! God is good!

Also really fun that we have walked through this travel prep with a new adoption friend in Florida. Though they are going to a different region, we are both with the same agency and leaving on the same day to meet their little girl! Praying for the Tichys too!
