Psalm 68:6 "God places the lonely in families; he sets the prisoners free and gives them joy." This blog details our journey to our second son. We adopted our first son in June 2010 and have felt God calling us back to Russia to complete our family.

Time to notarize, apostille!
Yes the time has come. We finally have a completed and DCFS approved home study so we'll be sending off our paperwork to CWA tomorrow (hopefully) after a trip to Springfield to apostille. If not tomorrow, it will be Tuesday. Looking forward to being registered in the region and beginning our wait for a referral. Was at Gymboree today and couldn't resist buying two tshirts, one that says "Little Brother" and the other "Big Brother." Not knowing sizes or even the season this will happen in may mean the shirts don't work but I just couldn't resist. So hard to think of Benjamin as a big brother. Wow. Anyway, I hope to have more news for you SOON! (but don't hold your breath ha ha) My soon could be a year from now! HA! Thanks for praying for us. God is good!

following your blog from Germantown Hills, IL!! we're not an adoptive family (unless you count me being domestically adopted at 4 weeks old back in 1970!) but enjoy following the stories of those obedient to God's call to adopt!
ReplyDeleteHow exciting! Glad you're along for the ride!
