October 26, 2011 - Applied to adopt with Christian World Adoption

October 29, 2011 - Mailed off completed contract to CWA

October 31, 2011 - Mailed self study for home study to caseworker

November-December - Completed homestudy meetings and training required by DCFS

January 20, 2012 - Homestudy complete and DCFS approved

January 23, 2012 - Dossier apostilled and sent to CWA

March 1, 2012 - USCIS fingerprinting appointment

March 9, 2012 - Received USCIS approval for our adoption!

March 16, 2012 - Registered in the region in Russia

June 8, 2012 - Received referral for 2 year, 11 month old boy!

June 20, 2012 - Left for 1st trip to Russia

June 23, 2012 - Met him for the first time

June 28, 2012 - Home from 1st trip

July 25, 2012 - Leave for 2nd trip

July 31, 2012 - Court - Adoption approved!

August 2, 2012 - Home from 2nd trip

September 1, 2012 - Leave for 3rd trip

September 3, 2012 - Gotcha Day!

September 12, 2012 - Home FOREVER!
